Arrangements

There are many exciting events all year round in the Skagen area - lots of things to see and lots of things to do

Music events

In Skagen there's music throughout the year. Every weekend, music is performed at several of the local restaurants, pubs and bars. In June, July and August there's live music every day. On 27 March there's an accordion festival. The annual Skagen Music Festival takes place from 1 July until 4 July, and on 11 July there will be summer jazz on the quay in Aalbæk. Throughout the summer there'll be classical concerts in the church in Skagen.

Guided city walks

will lead you through Skagen's characteristic urban environment - low yellow houses, red roofs with white "laces".
If you want an individual guided tour, more than 20 expert guides are ready to share their knowledge and to inspire you to explore this exciting history yourself.
Individual guided tours can be booked in the following languages: Swedish, Norwegian, English, German, French, Italian, Finnish and of course Danish.

Cultural events

At Skagen's museums you'll find plenty of arrangements. For instance at Drachmanns Hus.
Here you can experience an evening in the company of the author Poul Bernth and the troubadour Kurt Kaas, who'll provide entertainment based on Drachmann's poems, ballads and songs. With the fire roaring in the hearth and a good glass of burgundy in your hand, you're guaranteed an evening with a cosy and intimate atmosphere.

Boat trips

See the coastline from Skagen Harbour to Grenen (where the 2 seas meet). All through the summer Skagen's local museum arranges these boat trips.

Quality Food Fair

This fair will be held for the fifth year running on 27 and 28 August. It takes place in the old Auction Hall at Skagen Harbour and is an appetizer that tries to foster contact between producers and consumers, and gives tourists a real taste of North Jutland - and the products from the region.
