Natural resorts

The greatest attractions are out in the countryside.
In the Land of Light there are natural resorts that are quite unique to the region.

Rubjerg Knude and the lighthouse buried in sand. The 100 m high clay and sand cliff migrates a couple of metres east every year. The sand migration prevails here - see how the drifting sand relentlessly covers the lighthouse.

Råbjerg Mile is northern Europe's biggest desert. A living, migrating dune that covers everything in its path: trees, roads and farms. An unforgettable experience.

Grenen

 -  Did you know that it undergoes constant change as a result of the currents. The tip of the sand sometimes points northeast, then east or southeast, but never north, as many people perhaps imagine.

 - Swimming is not allowed at the tip of Grenen due to the unpredictable currents, and near breakwaters there can be deep holes. The seas of Skagerrak can be perilous with enormous waves and powerful currents. Kattegat is calmer and more suitable for children.
