Holiday homes in the Land of Light
In the Land of Light there's a longstanding tradition for renting out a holiday home to holiday guests. This means that the choice of holiday homes is extensive and you can choose between many different types and sizes – ranging from small, simple, cosy timber houses to large, well-equipped luxury houses with a swimming pool – all furnished individually with charm and a personal touch. Many holiday homes can be used all year round and there's therefore no reason not to experience the Land of Light in a holiday home during autumn, at Christmas or at Easter.
Location Holiday homes are often located close to the coast, some lie close to towns, some offer fantastic views, some have a lot of space around them, whilst others are completely sheltered. The chances of finding a holiday home that suits you both in terms of location and layout, etc., are therefore good in the Land of Light.
Remember to book your holiday home in good time Rental takes place through different professional rental bureaus that are very familiar with the houses in their local area and look after everything from booking confirmation to delivery of the key. On the respective websites of the rental bureaus you can quickly and easily get an overview of the houses and book the house you require online if it's available. In the high season the houses can be rented on a weekly basis (typically from Saturday to Saturday), but outside the high season it's possible to go on a mini-break or find other special offers and discounts.

Facilities in the house
As mentioned earlier, there are of course differences between the houses since they're privately-owned and it isn't realistic to expect everything to be brand new, but generally speaking all the houses are equipped with all necessary kitchen equipment, tableware, beds, duvets and pillows corresponding to the number of people the house is designed for. Bed linen, towels and tea towels should be brought from home or can occasionally be hired from the rental bureau.
In addition to rent, you have to pay for your electricity consumption and in the event that you don't wish to clean the premises on your departure, you can also pay for this service – more details concerning cleaning are available from the rental bureau concerned.
