Don’t forget to experience...
the good things in life! There are many things in Frederikshavn that you simply MUST experience. On this site you will find suggestions about what we think you should see and do. If you have other ideas, the tourist office will gladly help.
Bangsbo Museum and Archive is open all year round. Here you can see the Resistance Museum and the old Viking ship “Ellingåskibet.” The Bangsbo area offers more than Bangsbo Museum. For example, you’ll also find an animal reserve, a lookout point, and much more. The Tordenskiold 18th Century Festival is held every year during the last weekend in June. Frederikshavn comes alive with soldiers, canons, markets, hustle and bustle, and fun and games. FunHouse, where both adults and children can amuse themselves, is open every weekend. This is an especially welcome activity on a rainy day. Shopping - Frederikshavn is a commercial centre with lots of soul. You’ll find a pedestrian street that is nearly two kilometres long and is lined with tons of tempting shops.
