Train
DSB operates train services on the Aalborg – Frederikshavn line. The train stops in Hjørring, Sindal, (Tolne, Kvissel) and Frederikshavn.

Bus
Express buses to the region
There are several options to get to the region by express bus.
Abildskou operates between Copenhagen and Aalborg, and Thinggaard runs between Esbjerg and Frederikshavn, as well as Odense, Kolding and Aalborg.

Summer buses
From the end of June until the beginning of August, Nordjyllands Trafikselskab’s summer buses are in operation. With route 99, “Skagerakkeren”, you can take a tour along the west coast from Skagen-Hirtshals-Løkken-Fårup Sommerland to Blokhus. Route 89, “Rødspætten”, runs from Frederikshavn across the region to Fårup Sommerland and the west coast. Find departures here From 1st of May until 31st of August it is possible to buy a speciel ticket on which you can travel for 24 hours all over Nordjylland.
