Plenty activities to suit all tastes, all ages and during any season – in the Skagen area.
Activities
In the Skagen area there are many options for an active holiday. Most of them are based outdoors, of course, such as golf, crazy golf, tennis, horseriding, angling, sailing, cycling, hiking and bathing.
In July and August there are weekly guided city walks in English. But if you want your very own guided tour you can book it at the tourist office. We have a large number of well-trained guides who specialize in many different subjects.
Especially for children
The Skagen area hosts many exciting events for children all year round, but naturally many of these take place during the school holidays.
At Skagens Museum there's art school for children and Skagen By- og Egnsmuseum arranges treasure hunts and actvity days. The children can also visit the local Teddy Bear Museum and Farm Fun - a homely farm with an animal park and play areas. Every thursday in "Bolcheriet" the children can make their own lollipop with help from the professionel sweetmakers.

Rent a bike!

If you want to try riding on horseback or riding on a bike, you can find information about where you can rent a horse or a bicycle respectively under the “Rental companies” section in the menu on the left.
You'll also find information on all our beaches. We have no less than 65 km long white sandy beaches in the Skagen area.

Hvide Klit- is one of the most splendid golf courses in Denmark.

Crazy golf in Skiveren
In Skiveren, at Skiveren Camping, you'll find an 18-hole Harris crazy golf course which was opened in 2005. A challenging course on artificial grass.
You'll find many interesting details on the course such as bridges, watercourse, fountains etc.
