Art and culture are associated with Skagen, the museums dominating the picture for the most part.

This is understandable, of course, but if you come to Skagen you will often know that this picture is too one-sided. Many exciting things are happening in the whole of the Skagen area on the cultural front, not least in the area of handicrafts and in the galleries.
