Cultural events

Our culture is a chapter in itself and a Danish cultural treasure of the highest level. It is created by artists who were themselves part of the town's history. Anna and Michael Ancher, Holger Drachmann and Peder Severin Krøyer are some of the Skagen painters who were at the forefront of European art in the last century.

Skagens Museum has the world's largest collection of Skagen art. In the town's other museums you can get an insight into the history of the town and the artists homes. There are also a large number of galleries with modern art.

We organise various cultural events in conjunction with conferences as per request.
